Deliverance Is the Children’s Bread: Embracing Your Freedom in Christ
Many believers love God deeply but quietly carry burdens that feel difficult to shake.
Fear that lingers.
Thought patterns that seem stubborn.
Oppression that clouds peace.
Yet Scripture reminds us that the work of Jesus was not only about forgiveness — it was also about freedom.
Deliverance is not a rare privilege reserved for a few people. According to the Word of God, it is part of the inheritance of those who belong to Him.
It is, as Jesus described it, the children’s bread.
Gratitude When You Don't Feel Like It: How Thanksgiving Opens the Door to God's Favor
Gratitude is easy when life feels good.
When prayers are answered.
When doors are opening.
When provision is obvious.
But real spiritual maturity is revealed when gratitude shows up even when circumstances feel uncertain.
The Word of God teaches that thanksgiving is not simply a reaction to blessing — it is a posture of faith that invites God's presence and favor into our lives.
Winning the Battle of the Mind: Making the Word of God Your Standard
Some of the most intense spiritual battles believers face do not happen in public.
They happen in the mind.
Quietly.
In thoughts that question your identity.
In fears that challenge your faith.
In worries that try to overwhelm your peace.
Scripture makes it clear that the mind is a real battlefield. But God has not left us defenseless. He has given us a standard that brings clarity, authority, and victory.
That standard is His Word.
Kingdom Stewardship in Finances: Filing Your Taxes with Integrity and Wisdom
For many people, tax season brings stress, confusion, and procrastination.
But as believers, our finances are not separate from our faith. How we handle money, records, and even taxes is part of our stewardship before the Lord.
Scripture reminds us that everything we manage ultimately belongs to God.
“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” — 1 Corinthians 4:2 (KJV)
Faithfulness in stewardship doesn't only show up in tithes or offerings. It shows up in the everyday disciplines of financial responsibility — budgeting, record keeping, and yes, even filing our taxes with honesty and diligence.
Recently, I experienced this firsthand through the work of a sister in Christ who helped prepare my taxes with remarkable integrity and attention to detail. Watching her approach the work reminded me that diligence in the practical things is also Kingdom work.
