Kingdom Stewardship in Finances: Filing Your Taxes with Integrity and Wisdom

For many people, tax season brings stress, confusion, and procrastination.

But as believers, our finances are not separate from our faith. How we handle money, records, and even taxes is part of our stewardship before the Lord.

Scripture reminds us that everything we manage ultimately belongs to God.

“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” — 1 Corinthians 4:2 (KJV)

Faithfulness in stewardship doesn't only show up in tithes or offerings. It shows up in the everyday disciplines of financial responsibility — budgeting, record keeping, and yes, even filing our taxes with honesty and diligence.

Recently, I experienced this firsthand through the work of a sister in Christ who helped prepare my taxes with remarkable integrity and attention to detail. Watching her approach the work reminded me that diligence in the practical things is also Kingdom work.
