A Little Coffee, A Whole Lotta Jesus: Faith for the Christian Mom & Entrepreneur

Christian mother sipping coffee and reading her Bible

There are mornings when the house is quiet…
and there are mornings when it absolutely is not.

As a Christian mother and business owner, the day doesn’t wait for feelings. It doesn’t wait for clarity. It doesn’t wait for perfect sleep. It begins — and I have to begin with it.

So I reach for two things:

A little coffee.
And a whole lotta Jesus.

Because coffee may wake up my body…

But only Jesus strengthens my soul.

Before the Emails. Before the Meetings. Before the Noise.

Before I open my laptop.
Before I respond to a client.
Before I build strategy or create content.

I sit — not as a CEO, not as a creative, not as a problem solver.

But as a daughter.

Scripture reminds us:

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” — Matthew 6:33 (KJV)

Alignment before assignment.

If I start my day chasing productivity instead of presence, I feel it. But when I seek Him first, there is a divine steadiness that carries into everything else.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)

That verse isn’t motivational fluff. It’s survival truth for women carrying vision and responsibility.

Strength for the Christian Mother

Motherhood exposes your need for grace quickly.

There are days I feel stretched — emotionally, mentally, spiritually. And in those moments, I remember:

“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)

Strength isn’t something I manufacture. It’s something I receive.

The Lord meets me in:

  • The baby’s nap time

  • The early sunrise

  • Whispered prayers over breakfast

  • Quiet worship in the kitchen

He strengthens my hands for what He has assigned me.

Not just to survive motherhood — but to mother with wisdom, patience, and joy.

Grace for the Faith-Based Entrepreneur

Building a faith-based business requires courage.

There are slow seasons.
There are bold ideas that feel bigger than the bank account.
There are moments when obedience feels risky.

But I’ve learned this:

If God gave the vision, He will sustain the woman carrying it.

“Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.” — Proverbs 16:3 (KJV)

Some days I’m strategizing.
Some days I’m creating.
Some days I’m simply trusting.

And in every season, I lean on Him for daily bread — not just financial provision, but clarity, discipline, creativity, and courage.

Because success without peace is not success at all.

Hope for Greater Blessings

I don’t rely on coffee because I’m exhausted by life.

I rely on Jesus because I expect more from life.

More fruit.
More impact.
More growth.
More alignment with Heaven.

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think…” — Ephesians 3:20 (KJV)

Hope is not wishful thinking. It is confident expectation rooted in who God is.

I believe He blesses obedience.
I believe He honors faithfulness.
I believe He multiplies what is surrendered.

And so I show up daily — imperfect but willing.

Designed2Honor

Motherhood.
Business.
Creativity.
Vision.

None of it is random.

It is designed to honor Him.

“Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31 (KJV)

That means I build differently.
I rest differently.
I decide differently.

I don’t grind from fear.

I build from faith.

So yes — I’ll take the coffee.

But give me Jesus first.

Because caffeine may carry me for a few hours…

But His strength carries me through the calling.

For the Christian Mom Building in Faith

If you’re a mother building vision…
If you’re a woman of God stewarding business…
If you’re believing for greater blessings while balancing daily responsibility…

You don’t need everything figured out.

You just need grace for today.

And sometimes that looks like:

A little coffee.
And a whole lotta Jesus.
